I was very happy to squeak in a finish for this 2025 commemorative quilt before the end of the year. Fun patches from all the participating quilt shops in the Central and North regions are included as well as the beautiful I Love New York panel from Riley Blake Designs. The perfect border fabric was made by Urban Grunge and found in a quilt shop in Frederick, Maryland. Most everything else save for the NYS print from Windham Fabrics used for the label was found in my stash. Finished on a chilly December day, these patches provide lovely memories of shop hop touring during the warmer days of 2025.

A very wise woman who attended one of my lectures this year advised me to substitute the word "organic" for the adjective "wonky" I used often to describe my machine quilting skills and subsequent designs. Great idea! Needless to say, there is a LOT of organic quilting to be found in this quilt...
