Designer Edytar Sitar's beautiful "Alaska" Quilt from Laundry Basket Quilts provided the pattern for Chris and niece Katie's wedding quilt. I added an extra border and slightly changed the number of fabrics and their value placement from that suggested in the pattern. Tricky piecing, but Edytar's beautiful pattern is worth the effort. Oh, and there is an unplanned “humility block” whose values are not as symmetrically placed as they should be. Machine pieced and machine quilted with original designs.
