Made for a daughter's dear friend in France on the occasion of her wedding, Hayley personally delivered this to Helene and Bernard after a week of it being Missing In Action in Lost Luggage Land somewhere between Paris and Lyon. Phew! Now my hope is that the happy couple will enjoy it for many years to come. Not knowing Helene's color preferences, a scrappy blue and white fabric palette was chosen because, frankly, what is not to love about that classic color combination? Simple piecing was chosen - traditional "X's and O's" (Are "Hugs and Kisses" designated by X's and O's in France, I wonder?) - so Helene's sweet four-legged buddies can enjoy the quilt as well. Machine pieced and quilted.
