Based on a very traditional pattern, I hoped to give this Lemoyne Star a vintage look by the use of reproduction fabrics, especially the shirtings and that double-pink! Sparkle was added with the value placements, and added interest with the inner green "border". The design was inspired by a short-lived 1996 TV-series starring Lisa Ann Walter called "Life's Work"; the living room set featured a Lemoyne Star beauty draped over the couch. Don't you love shows and movies that feature quilts? Hand-pieced, and hand-quilted, it measures 72" x 72".
