We needed a new lap quilt and was easily persuaded by the pattern "Flag Day" designed by Angela Pingel and published in July/August 2015 issue of McCall's Quilting. A quick trip to the local quilt shop on the first day of summer vacation provided the perfect patriotic flavors and the easy pattern meant the perfect project for a quick finish.
