These luscious blue and green and aqua and teal fabrics were much appreciated presents from my hubby, hence the name of this quilt. Since it was a hand-pieced project, it has traveled with me to Africa and back, and has many memories built-in. Adapted from a traditional half-clamshell pattern, the presentation appears slightly askew although all straight lines are perfectly horizontal and vertical. Hand-pieced and machine-quilted.
