This piece is comprised of motifs that symbolize the traditions in a Polish Christmas Eve, including setting an extra plate and putting a light in the window for unexpected guests (the Christ Child), and sharing good wishes along with pieces of opłatek (wafer). Machine pieced, hand appliques, hand quilted.
