Each quilt was made for made for two of my library assistants upon their retirement from our local school system. The blocks are signed by various faculty and staff members; some books are titled with retirement wishes and retirement reading, barcode spaces hold favorite vacation spots, and call numbers suggest retirement activities. The design is adapted from Angela Pingel's "Book Nerd" pattern. Machine pieced and quilted.
