This quilt was made for my daughter, who is currently serving as a Foreign Service Officer in Vietnam. This is her second post with the State Department; I also made a quilt for her first posting in the island country of Cabo Verde (“Oh Say Can You Sea”). I fear a pattern has been established.
This original quilt top design was adapted from a traditional Hmong tribe embroidery pattern. The quilt was constructed in rows. Machine pieced and machine quilted.
