Oh, boy! Another grandbaby on the way, so time to make some baby quilts.
While shopping at the wonderful Sadie Quilts in Macedon NY, all resolutions to not buy any more fabric for baby quilts completely vanished. On the outside, this shop looks modest in size, but once you enter, you are treated to a magical expanse of fabric bolts lined up as far as the eye can see, as well as patterns, and class samples, and charming displays. I fell in love with Tula Pink’s (of course TULA PINK) Roar line featuring fun dinosaurs posing for portraits or on parade. Yardage was acquired.
I kept the design for this one simple, basically to get out of the way of the charming fabric. And who says baby quilts have to be pink or blue?
Original design, machine pieced and machine quilted on a stationary machine.
